PLATE 01 / CUT INDEX

Five T-shirt lines, read from close to wide

Start with a T-shirt you already like, measure it flat and compare the same points below. Letter sizes are only the index tab; garment dimensions reveal the actual silhouette. The five lines are working specifications rather than interchangeable basics.

Column 180Regular and straight

Size M chest 104 cm, length 70 cm and a set-in shoulder for a familiar base layer. Its 180 gsm cotton jersey is the lightest cloth in the T-shirt index.

Square 220Wide and compact

Size M chest 116 cm, length 68 cm and a dropped shoulder that carries the box shape. Width is already built into the pattern, so compare before sizing up.

Crop Line 200Relaxed and shorter

Size M chest 110 cm, length 61 cm for a clean meeting point with a higher waistband. The shorter body remains relaxed through the chest.

Long Form 190Regular and extended

Size M chest 106 cm, length 76 cm with side splits for a visible layered hem. The regular shoulder keeps the reading long rather than oversized.

Heavy Frame 240Relaxed and dense

Size M chest 114 cm, length 71 cm with a deeper collar and elbow-skimming sleeve. Dense jersey holds the broad frame and should be stored folded.

PLATE 02 / CURRENT ISSUE

Garment samples that change the outline without a graphic

A straight base, square T-shirt, raised hem, dense frame, reference hoodie, wide hoodie, open zip and deep hood show the index from compact structure to adjustable volume. Every sample leads to its complete fit figures and size choice.

PLATE 03 / ANNOTATION

Read the construction before choosing colour

Small pattern and finish decisions determine whether a plain garment feels close, broad, long or structured once it is worn and layered. Colour changes the field; construction establishes the outline.

↔

Shoulder position

A set-in seam keeps the line familiar; a dropped seam moves volume into the upper sleeve and broadens the frame.

↕

Body proportion

Compare flat garment length with your own layer so crop, standard and longline hems land where you intend.

◯

Neck and hood

Rib depth, hood layers and crossover shape control how much visual weight sits around the face and collar.

≡

Cuff and hem

Deeper rib grips more firmly and gathers volume; lighter finishes allow an easier line beneath another layer.

PLATE 04 / HOOD VOLUME

Choose room for the layer you will actually wear

Hoodie fit should be tested over the intended T-shirt, not against the body alone. Standard Volume carries one straightforward layer; Box Volume adds upper-body ease; Zip Column adjusts the front line; Light Layer reduces bulk; Deep Hood shifts emphasis towards the neckline.

  • Measure chest with the underlayer included
  • Confirm body and sleeve length separately
  • Compare hood construction with coat collars
  • Use fabric weight to plan seasonal stacking

PLATE 05 / LAYER STORYBOARD

Build one outfit from the inside out

A useful wardrobe starts with the role of each layer, then checks dimensions and colour relationships before the basket is sent. Keep a comparable garment on the desk while moving through these five decisions.

  1. 01

    Set the base line

Choose Column for a regular start, Square for width, Crop Line for a raised hem, Long Form for a visible underlayer or Heavy Frame for structure.

  2. 02

    Add hoodie volume

Leave enough chest and arm room for the selected T-shirt while checking that the two body lengths create the intended overlap.

  3. 03

    Coordinate the colour field

Use white and off-white to open contrast, carbon to ground the combination, cobalt as a strong block or tomato red as a smaller point of emphasis.

  4. 04

    Check the garment figures

Measure a comparable item flat at chest, length and sleeve, then choose the closest product size instead of relying only on a usual label.

  5. 05

    Send the basket

Review sizes and quantities at checkout, add any fit question to the order notes and submit the request for confirmation before payment.

REFERENCE / FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers for comparing cuts, building a layered basket and sending an order request.

Should I size up for a relaxed fit?

Not automatically. Square, Heavy Frame, Box Volume and Deep Hood already carry extra ease. Compare their garment chest and length figures with a piece you own before changing size.

How do I compare a hoodie for layering?

Measure a hoodie that fits over the T-shirt or mid-layer you intend to wear. Compare chest, body and sleeve dimensions, then check how the hood sits beside your coat collar.

Is payment taken when I send checkout?

No. Checkout sends an order request. Availability, delivery details and payment instructions are confirmed after the basket has been reviewed.

Can I ask about fit before ordering?

Yes. Send the product name, proposed size and the flat chest or length of a comparable garment through the contact page or include the question in your checkout notes.

FIELD NOTES / FIT & ORDER

Begin with a garment, not a guess

The letter on a size tab is only a starting point. Lay a T-shirt or hoodie that already fits you on a flat surface without stretching it. Measure the chest from underarm to underarm and double that figure, then record body length from the high shoulder point to the hem. For hoodies, compare sleeve length and note whether the reference has a set-in or dropped shoulder.

If you intend to layer, measure the outer garment over the T-shirt or mid-layer you expect to wear. Leave comfortable movement at the chest and upper arm, then confirm that neckline, hood and body lengths do not crowd one another. Checkout is an order-request handoff: inspect every size and quantity, add a concise fit note, and send accurate delivery details for review before payment instructions are supplied.
